Debbie’s Day Boats Limited has been established for over 35 years, situated in the heart of the country’s canal system in Fazeley near Tamworth, Staffordshire.

We are a small friendly Family boat yard owned and run by experienced boaters and canal enthusiasts with our own community of moorers.

We offer gas and coal sales and basic chanderley with oil filters and belts etc.

We hired Nessie for the day and was a bit disappointed with the weather it rained heavy first thing. My son was being shown the ropes by Lorna, she was an excellent teacher and made you feel confident. There was 7 of us, three adults and 4 children, ranging from 2 to 10. The kids loved the experience, not getting bored at all, the 2 year old was a bit of a handful, so she may stay home next time. The sun came out at about 10.30 and it was a really hot day. The captain was a bit nervous at first but he soon got the hang of it, lovely route, beautiful houses and pubs on the way. Nessie was a nice size to handle. Now we know what to expect we will definitely book again. Lovely experience. Thank you Lorna 👏🏼

Had a brilliant day.....went through all the things we needed to know, very friendly yet professional, lovely little boat, great pubs along the way, beautiful scenery. Will definitely book again every year..

Took my boat here to have the bottom blacked, loved the people here, so relaxed polite and helpful, the work was fantastic. Mark and his mum Lorna are a fantastic team, cannot recommend this place highly enough. Thank you Mark and hit team, and Lorna your love for dogs is alongside mine, loved talking to you.xx

Honestly one of the best days from start too finish! I booked this for the family as a birthday present … never done this before but with help and training with Lorna who was absolutely fantastic we had the best day I can’t fault anything at all I would give more than five stars if I could lovely couple super helpful Nessie is great! Highly recommend and can’t wait too book again! 🥂🤩

We hired one of the day boats for a day out (a group if six "grumpy old men" for a relaxed lazy day our. What a great day. Slowly going along the canal for a few hours. Seeing the thing's we drive past from a totally different angle and not rushing. Great to not have any locks to deal with resulted a totally relaxed day out. Thanks for the training and great delivery.


Nothing like a day relaxing on the British waterways and taking it easy on a Narrowboat!
